Located in Big Sky, Montana, Lone Mountain Ranch is a historic guest ranch situated on 148 acres in the heart of the Greater Yellowstone ecosystem. First homesteaded in 1915, the Ranch has grown into one of the premier guest ranch destinations in the American West, offering a unique blend of authentic hospitality, rich history, thoughtful luxury, and year-round outdoor adventure.

About the Role
The Steward at Lone Mountain Ranch plays an essential role in supporting a smooth and successful dining experience by helping maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. This position works closely with the culinary and Food & Beverage teams to ensure dishware, cookware, glassware, and kitchen spaces are consistently prepared and ready for service.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a team, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Stewards are an important part of the kitchen operation and contribute directly to the overall guest experience through consistency, organization, and teamwork.
What You’ll Do- Operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, cookware, and utensils
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dishwashing and kitchen environment
- Restock kitchen stations, storage areas, and service areas with clean wares and supplies
- Assist with trash removal, cleaning tasks, and maintaining overall kitchen cleanliness
- Support kitchen staff with basic food prep, stocking deliveries, or operational tasks as needed
- Monitor dishwashing and cleaning supplies and restock items as necessary
- Follow all sanitation, health, and safety standards consistently
- Communicate maintenance or equipment concerns promptly to leadership
- Work collaboratively with culinary and restaurant teams to support smooth daily operations
- Previous restaurant, stewarding, or kitchen experience preferred but not required
- Strong work ethic with a dependable and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving throughout shifts
- Ability to lift and carry kitchen items, dish racks, and supplies as needed
- Positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team
- Reliable attendance and ability to adapt to changing operational needs
- Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Commitment to cleanliness, organization, and maintaining a safe work environment
