Inventory Coordinator in Ocean Springs, Mississippi at Silvaris

Silvaris has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Inventory Coordinator based in Silvaris' Boise, ID or Ocean Springs MS offices.

This position manages all inbound and outbound inventory including costing, third party inventory location management, and purchase order/sales order processing. This position will also cross train with other positions within accounting. Most work is done via our internally developed website, email, telephone, and Microsoft Dynamics GP.

More about the Inventory Coordinator Job Duties:

• Manages inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments and stock levels processing purchase orders and sales orders daily.
• Evaluates deliveries, shipments, and product levels to improve inventory control procedures.
• Communicates with inventory reloads to meet business goals and address issues.
• Develops business relationships with suppliers, reloads, and internal teams.
• Works closely with third party inventory locations to perform inventory counts Quarterly/Monthly to ensure accuracy, existence, valuation and proper cutoff of inventory levels and costs.
• Investigates and resolves inconsistencies with inventory.
• Analyzes inventory costing methods and properly adjusts costs as needed.
• Proposes strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of inventory management.
• Investigates supporting documents including supplier invoices and BOL to properly reconcile inventory values.
• Reports on inventory levels, procedural efficiency and reload issues to upper management.
• Other duties as assigned.

You do not have to be an accountant; you do have to have a knack for the details, an analytical mindset and love organizing!

• Detail oriented, able to focus for periods of time
• Self-Starter and motivated
• Proficient with Outlook and other Office Suite Products
• Familiar with PDF’s and basic functions
• Ability and willingness to learn new software
• Team player attitude
