CAREGIVER NEEDED IN MIDDLETOWN, CT in Middletown, Connecticut at Prestige Companion and Homemakers, LLC

Requirements:

• Experience as a Caregiver or Assisting ADL's is required.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license. (MUST DRIVE)
• Able to pass Background check required.
• Experience as a PCA/CNA a plus but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide patient care and support for individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, or autism.
• Monitor vital signs and observe patients for any changes in condition or behavior.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping and proper hygiene practices.
• Operate mobility equipment (e.g., Hoyer lifts) when needed for safe transfers.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document patient observations and report significant changes to appropriate personnel.
