Position Title: Hair Stylist

Role: The Hair Stylist is responsible for delivering exceptional salon services that reflect the highest standards of quality, professionalism, and guest care. This role ensures every guest receives a personalized, high-quality experience by performing services in accordance with established department and brand standards. The Hair Stylist is committed to exceeding guest expectations through technical expertise, attention to detail, and a strong focus on overall guest satisfaction. Adheres to all Company, Safety and Department policies and procedures. Fosters teamwork and provides excellent guest service, anticipates guest needs to exceed guest expectations. Qualifications:
- Education: Board-approved cosmetology school
- Experience:
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a salon or resort-style spa, along with a commitment to providing a relaxing, high-level client experience.
- Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to interact clearly and professionally with guests and team members
- High level of discretion and integrity in handling confidential and sensitive information
- Excellent organizational, coordination, and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain attention to detail under pressure
- Friendly, professional, and service-oriented demeanor with a passion for enhancing the guest experience
- Collaborative team player who works effectively with diverse personalities and backgrounds
- Adaptable and flexible with scheduling, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and adjust to changing business needs
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate guest needs and respond proactively
- Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality, polished results

Required Work Cards needed:
- Valid Nevada State Board of Cosmetology License
Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Perform a full range of salon hair services in accordance with Spa Aquae’s luxury service standards, policies, and treatment protocols, ensuring consistency and excellence in every guest experience
- Conduct thorough hair and scalp consultations to assess guest needs, provide expert recommendations, and deliver customized services
- Demonstrate advanced technical skill in cutting, styling, updos, and color services, producing polished, high-quality results
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of professional products, tools, and techniques, effectively recommending retail products to support guest needs and contribute to sales goals
- Support the Lead Stylist with product ordering and assist with monthly inventory processes to ensure proper stock levels and operational efficiency
- Monitor, maintain, and ensure all salon equipment is clean, safe, and in proper working condition; report any issues promptly
- Adhere strictly to all state board regulations and spa standards for sanitation, disinfection, and cleanliness
- Effectively manage time and perform services efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced, luxury environment
- Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high service and performance standards
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace, contributing to the overall presentation and ambiance of the salon
- Support a team-oriented environment and uphold professionalism in all interactions
- Carry out all additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management to support seamless spa and salon operations

Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases too loud. Additionally, smoking is permitted in casino areas consistent with Nevada state regulations, which are followed by the employer.
