We are presently searching for our next great team member as a Snow Groomer to join our Alpine Operations team. If you can provide our guests with an amazing experience, combined with working as an energetic part of our resort, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities include: (but not limited to)

* Safe and efficient operation of snow grooming equipment, including a variety of snow cats and attachments, grading equipment and other heavy machinery

* Ensure grooming provides an excellent experience for guests

* Maintain and operate equipment according to company standards

* Keep workspace clean and organized

* Assist in maintaining and cleaning of all snow grooming equipment and related machinery

* Identify and report all maintenance requirements in a timely fashion

* Assist in repairs and scheduled maintenance of equipment as required

* Identify any maintenance or operational issues on runs and report to management

* Other tasks as required

Job Requirements / Qualifications:

* A valid class 5 or equivalent driver’s license is a must

* Previous equipment operating experience is a must

* Previous experience with snow grooming machinery an asset

* Strong mechanical aptitude

* Strong problem-solving skills

* Ability to follow directions while unsupervised

* Ability to work late and overnight

* Ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, shoveling, and moving over 40lbs

* Basic First Aid required; higher qualification an asset

* Must be available to work weekends and holidays

* Ski/Snowboard experience an asset

* Chainsaw experience an asset

* Grooming being weather dependent, flexibility regarding shifts & schedule is required

This is a Seasonal Position so you must be able to commit to the role for the full Winter Season (November-April).
