As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will lead the reliability and operational excellence of PostgreSQL infrastructure while building scalable automation and cloud-native solutions. You will collaborate with engineering teams to enhance platform performance, resilience, and operational efficiency.
- Manage the reliability, maintenance, upgrades, scaling, and day-to-day operations of PostgreSQL infrastructure.
- Design and implement automation for infrastructure provisioning, deployments, upgrades, and service lifecycle management across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and modern CI/CD practices.
- Build and maintain Go-based tools and services to improve automation, operational workflows, and developer productivity.
- Implement robust observability solutions, including monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, and performance metrics.
- Lead incident response activities, root cause analysis, and post-incident improvements to strengthen platform reliability.
- Collaborate with platform, networking, and product engineering teams to improve service architecture and operational readiness.
- Mentor fellow engineers by sharing best practices for infrastructure management, automation, and reliability engineering.
- Contribute to architectural decisions that improve scalability, security, and operational excellence across cloud environments.
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience operating production-grade distributed systems and possesses strong expertise in PostgreSQL, cloud infrastructure, automation, and site reliability engineering. You are comfortable taking ownership, solving complex technical problems, and working in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
- 7+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, or infrastructure engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience managing, scaling, and performance tuning PostgreSQL databases.
- Deep expertise with AWS and practical experience working across GCP and Azure environments.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, containerized infrastructure, and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience developing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Proficiency in Go programming or willingness to develop and maintain production-grade Go applications.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation tools.
- Strong understanding of observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenTelemetry, or equivalent technologies.
- Solid knowledge of SLOs, incident management, reliability engineering principles, and continuous improvement practices.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Self-driven mindset with the ability to work independently while contributing to highly collaborative engineering teams.
