POSITION SUMMARY | |
Web Industries Lead Manufacturing Operators are responsible for manufacturing product by following standard work and manufacturing specifications. This position has a key role in meeting our production needs and working as a team with leading others to operate as efficiently as possible. The Lead Manufacturing Operator position is a key room support for the shift supervisor, answering questions, performing inspections, material pulls and insuring production levels are maintained. | |

Additional REQUIRED Qualifications/Skills: | |
High School diploma or GED | |
4+ years manufacturing experience or equivalent | |
Understanding and use of LEAN tools including: SMED, Kanban Systems, PokaYoke, Value Stream Map analysis/creation etc | |
Ability to read, write and speak and understand English | |
Ability to read and understand complex work instructions | |
Basic computer/math skills; Word, Excel, Outlook etc | |
Self-Motivated and detail oriented | |
Team oriented | |
Ability to lift 50Ibs-75Ibs (location dependent) | |
Forklift Certification | |
US Citizen or Permanent Resident | |
Certification and Completion of Web’s Training Passport program for Manufacturing Operator II | |
Additional PREFERRED Qualifications/Skills: | |
Green Belt training/certification | |
Lean Training/certification | |
Exposure to an FDA or highly regulated environment | |
Track record of strong communication and above average job performance | |
Experience manufacturing flexible materials | |
