Caregiver – Dearborn Heights, MI (1:1 Caregiver in a Residential Home)

ExpertCare is seeking a reliable, compassionate, and dedicated Caregiver to provide 1:1 support for a 49-year-old male in Dearborn Heights diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. This position requiring hands-on assistance and attentive support throughout daily routines.
Schedule:
- Monday (Split Shift): 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Every Other Weekend: 12-hour shifts on both Saturday and Sunday (start/end times flexible)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide total care support, including hands-on assistance with daily living activities
- Assist with total Personal Care as well as hygiene routines and provide prompts as needed
- Support meal preparation and feeding assistance
- Encourage and assist with light exercise and mobility
- Provide companionship and promote socialization
- Complete light household chores related to client care
- Support skill-building activities and overall quality of life
- Ensure a safe, respectful, and positive environment at all times

- Reliable transportation to and from case
- Ability to pass required background checks and screenings
