Caregiver – Dearborn Heights, MI (1:1 Caregiver in a Residential Home)

ExpertCare is seeking a reliable, compassionate, and dedicated Caregiver to provide 1:1 support for a 49-year-old male in Dearborn Heights diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. This position requiring hands-on assistance and attentive support throughout daily routines.

Schedule:

• Monday (Split Shift): 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Every Other Weekend: 12-hour shifts on both Saturday and Sunday (start/end times flexible)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide total care support, including hands-on assistance with daily living activities
• Assist with total Personal Care as well as hygiene routines and provide prompts as needed
• Support meal preparation and feeding assistance
• Encourage and assist with light exercise and mobility
• Provide companionship and promote socialization
• Complete light household chores related to client care
• Support skill-building activities and overall quality of life
• Ensure a safe, respectful, and positive environment at all times
