Seasonal Forklift Operator in TIPP CITY, Ohio at Gardens Alive

Responsibilities:

· Move product, utilizing forklifts, to various areas of the warehouse.

· Load and unload trucks.

· Pull, palletize and verify stock orders, transfers and any other outbound shipments.

· Use forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.

· Report any safety or mechanical issues with equipment to Operations Manager.

· Operate RF scan gun.

· Verify product is properly stored at the correct temperatures.

· Identify and notify manager when product does not meet quality standards.

· Help keep product organized and located in the correct locations.

· Receive, down stack, label and put away product as it arrives.

· Perform all necessary tasks in inventory system including printing RF labels.

· Follow all safety requirements and rules for forklift operation.

· Maintain attitude, direction, policy and goals consistent with company values.

· Ensure a safe and clean work environment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Minimum of 1 yr. experience operating Standup, Sit Down, and Picker powered industrial trucks.
• Physically able to stand, walk, bend, reach
• Able to lift heavy packages up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as being a team player
• Positive attitude
