DAY PORTER in Liberty, North Carolina at MG Capital Maintenance Inc

Job Summary:

Responsible for cleaning and servicing assigned areas and maintaining positive customer service. Willing to perform routine, repetitive tasks on a continuous basis as assigned by Supervisor.

Essential Functions:

• Interact with customers in a professional manner
• Assemble materials and supplies from the supply room and transport to work areas
• Clean assigned areas using appropriate equipment, solutions, and disinfectants
• Replenish supplies of soap, towels, and other dispensable items
• Gather and dispose of trash and replace liners when necessary
• Keep supply closet neat and orderly and discuss supplies needed with Supervisor
• Adhere to all OSHA standards and safety procedures
• Additional duties assigned by Supervisor

Additional Responsibilities

• Performs any related work as assigned by the Supervisor
• Performs or assists with special requests from the property manager or tenant

Qualifications:

• Minimum grammar school or equivalent
• Previous cleaning experience in a commercial building preferred
• Good customer service skills.
• Must be able to endure hours of continuous work when called upon to do so
• Physical efforts required by the job include standing, stooping, pulling, pushing, and lifting up to 25 pounds
• Must know how to use and care for equipment, measure cleaning solutions, and be alert to hazards
• Have the ability to follow oral and/or written instructions
• Bilingual language skills a plus
