FT, LPN Shift Supervisor, 3pm-11pm in Charleston, South Carolina at Bishop Gadsden Episcopal Retirement

At Bishop Gadsden, exceptional care starts with meaningful relationships. We're seeking an experienced and compassionate LPN Shift Supervisor to join our evening team in Myers Hall Assisted Living. This is an exciting opportunity for a nursing professional who enjoys mentoring others, leading by example, and making a lasting impact in the lives of residents.

As a key member of our leadership team, you'll help guide daily clinical operations, support fellow caregivers, and ensure our residents receive the highest quality care in a warm, welcoming community.

As the Evening Shift Supervisor, you will:

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing and caregiving staff throughout the shift
• Serve as a clinical resource for physicians, team members, residents, and families
• Conduct resident rounds and proactively address care needs
• Respond to resident emergencies and family concerns with professionalism and urgency
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and shift assignments as needed
• Support employee coaching, performance management, and team development
• Oversee medication administration, documentation, and pharmacy-related processes
• Conduct clinical audits and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives
• Identify training opportunities and help foster a culture of continuous learning and excellence

What We Need In A Leader:

• Current South Carolina LPN license in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of long-term care experience
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team
• Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Must be at least 21 years of age
