Mission of Role
The Practice Administrator leads the day-to-day operations of the dental office, creating a positive and efficient environment for both patients and employees. This role ensures operational excellence in line with the Dental Excellence Group’s values and growth strategy.
Performance Indicators:
- Increase in monthly production and collections
- Reduction in employee turnover
- High patient retention and satisfaction scores
- Control of overhead costs within budget
- New patient acquisition aligned with marketing goals
Responsibilities
Leadership & Culture
- Foster a positive culture aligned with the Dental Excellence Group’s purpose and values.
- Hire, manage, and develop a high-performing, patient-focused team.
- Support change initiatives and drive team buy-in on company goals.
Operational & Financial Oversight
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, including scheduling, staffing, and resource planning.
- Drive profitability by managing controllables (labor, supplies, maintenance).
- Ensure effective billing, collections, insurance claim processes, and financial reporting.
Patient Experience & Growth
- Monitor patient satisfaction and retention.
- Support marketing campaigns and community outreach to drive new patient growth.
- Hold the team accountable to scheduling and care protocols.
Compliance & Administration
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
- Ensure the facility, equipment, and technology are properly maintained.
- Accurately complete all administrative and reporting tasks.
