We're looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and providing excellent internal and external customer service.

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounts payable process, ensuring vendor invoices are processed accurately and on time, maintaining vendor records, and supporting the accounting team with financial reporting and administrative tasks. This position plays a key role in maintaining strong vendor relationships and ensuring the integrity of the company's financial records.

• Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
• Verify invoices, purchase orders, and supporting documentation
• Prepare and process vendor payments
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate accounts payable records and documentation
• Assist with expense reporting and financial reconciliations
• Generate accounts payable reports for leadership
• Assist with year-end 1099 preparation and reporting
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation for audits
• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal accounting controls
• Support the accounting team with additional administrative and clerical duties
• Follow company policies, procedures, and internal controls

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous accounts payable or accounting experience preferred
• Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite or similar accounting software
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience in the construction industry
• Familiarity with JobNimbus or other construction management software
