CDL-A Driver - 2nd Shift in Machesney Park, Illinois at HENNIG INC

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a CDL Class A manual-shift tractor-trailer with flatbed trailer
  
• Secure loads using chains, straps, and binders in compliance with DOT regulations
  
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
  
• Ensure proper load securement before and during transport
  
• Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies
  
• Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation

Required Qualifications:

• Valid CDL Class A license
  
• Previous tractor-trailer flatbed experience required
  
• Experience with chaining and strapping loads
  
• Manual transmission driving experience required
  
• Knowledge of DOT regulations
  
• Ability to perform physical tasks related to load securement
  
• Acceptable driving record
  

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

• Ability to climb on and off flatbeds
  
• Ability to lift and secure heavy chains and straps
  
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
