Job Description
This is a Full-Time hourly, non-exempt role that reports to the VP of Marketing.
This is an in-office position. The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $34.00 per hour and does not qualify for a position specific bonus plan. Typical hours for this position are Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm CST.
Summary: The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing marketing initiatives for Your Home Improvement Company. This person will work closely with the VP of Marketing to develop strategies that drive brand awareness, generate leads, and ultimately increase sales. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Essential Functions:
- Work alongside the VP of Marketing to develop and support direct response marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital advertising, email, direct mail, television, radio, social media, and affiliate marketing.
- Monitor campaign performance and analyze key metrics such as lead volume, conversion rates, cost per lead (CPL), cost per acquisition (CPA), and return on ad spend (ROAS).
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials.
- Develop reports and dashboards to communicate campaign performance and recommendations to leadership.
- Work with external agencies, media partners, and vendors as needed.
- Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with marketing regulations and company policies.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Experience in home improvement, retail, healthcare, insurance, financial services, or other lead-generation focused industries.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Understanding of marketing principles and best practices.
- Knowledge of residential remodeling industry trends and customer preferences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Capacity to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in direct response marketing, performance marketing, demand generation, or customer acquisition.
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting marketing data and performance metrics.
- Experience managing paid media campaigns across digital and traditional channels
- Proficiency with marketing analytics and reporting and CRM tools
