Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Custodian to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep
of our facility. In this role you will be the key person responsible for ensuring our environment is sanitized,
welcoming, and presentable for staff, visitors and guests.
Duties:
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors. Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, counter tops and windows.
Thoroughly clean, disinfect, and restock restrooms daily (sinks, toilets, mirrors, soap/paper dispensers).
Empty all trash cans, recycling bins and compost containers: replace liners and safely transport waste to
external dumpsters.
Keep entryways, walkways and hallways clear of debris.Snow removal is necessary.
Monitor cleaning supply levels and notify management when items need to be reordered.
Ensure all chemical products are stored safely and labeled correctly.
Perform basic maintenance tasks(e.g. changing light bulbs, tightening loose screws) and promptly report
any major repair or safety hazards to facilities management.
Able to stand or walk for long periods,bend, kneel and safety lift up to (50 lbs) such as trash bags or heavy
equipment.
A strong work ethic, punctuality,and the ability to work productively with minimal supervision
Hourly rate is $16.45/hr
