Job Description
Front Desk Administrator
Moxy Dental & Airway is seeking a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Front Desk Administrator to join our growing team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a critical role in creating a positive patient experience while supporting the day-to-day operations of our front office. We are looking for a dependable professional who is passionate about customer service, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced dental environment.
Position Details
Position: Front Desk Administrator
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Tuesday – Friday
Compensation: $20–$28 per hour, depending on experience
Benefits: Available for eligible full-time employees
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Welcome and check in patients with a professional and friendly demeanor.
Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling, questions, and requests.
Schedule appointments and manage patient recall systems to support office productivity.
Verify and update dental insurance information and benefits.
Present treatment plans and discuss financial arrangements with patients.
Collect payments and process transactions at the time of service.
Scan, organize, and maintain patient records and documentation.
Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and outside specialists.
Maintain accurate patient information while adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality standards.
Assist with general administrative and front office duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required
Minimum of 2 years dental insurance and billing experience
Treatment coordination and treatment presentation experience
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy office setting.
Experience with appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and patient collections.
Proficiency with computers and standard office software.
Preferred
Experience with Eaglesoft practice management software.
Knowledge of dental terminology and insurance processes.
