This role sits at the core of a global finance organization, ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of all accounts payable activities across multiple entities and currencies. You will play a key part in maintaining financial integrity by managing vendor transactions, supporting payment cycles, and contributing to month-end close processes. The position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You will collaborate closely with internal finance teams and external vendors to resolve issues and ensure smooth operational workflows. Beyond day-to-day processing, this role also contributes to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and scalability within AP operations. It is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys structured financial work while also influencing process optimization in a growing, global organization.

Accountabilities:
  • Manage high-volume invoice processing activities, ensuring accuracy, proper approvals, correct coding, and compliance with internal policies and controls.
  • Support expense reporting and corporate credit card programs, including transaction audits, reconciliations, and employee support.
  • Assist with weekly and monthly payment cycles, including ACH, wire, check, and international payments.
  • Maintain accurate vendor records and respond promptly to vendor inquiries and discrepancies.
  • Support month-end close activities, including accruals and reconciliation of AP subledger to the general ledger.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements such as VAT, GST, sales/use tax, and 1099 filings.
  • Contribute to audits by preparing and organizing required documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve AP workflows and support process optimization initiatives.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of accounts payable or similar accounting experience, ideally in multi-entity environments.
  • Strong understanding of AP processes, vendor management, and basic tax compliance requirements.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Workday, Business Central, or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with AP automation tools (e.g., Tipalti, Coupa, AvidXchange, Stampli) is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage high transaction volumes and competing deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong accuracy and accountability in financial processes.
  • Ability to support month-end and year-end close cycles, including occasional extended hours.
Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary range of $50,000 – $60,000 USD, plus eligibility for bonus
  • Remote-first role within the United States (preference for East Coast time zone)
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Short-term and long-term disability coverage
  • Life insurance benefits
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching
  • Generous paid time off, holidays, and volunteer days
  • Pet insurance coverage
  • Access to LinkedIn Learning and professional development resources
  • Employee wellness programs and mental health support
  • Collaborative, global work culture with virtual and in-person engagement opportunities
