Childcare Assistant Teacher in Gallipolis, Ohio at Holzer Health System

A staff member who works under the direction of a lead teacher. Assistant teachers will be part of a classroom teaching team. Assistant teachers will be responsible for carrying out the age appropriate

Education, Work Experience and Licensure:

1. Must be 18 years of age and meet the following criteria:

1.Completed high school education or at least a junior enrolled in:

1. An early childhood education or child development career technical program.
   
   
   
   1. A child development associate (CDA) training program or achieved a CDA credential for the age group in which the high school student is working.
   
   
   

1. Provide verification of education on or before the childcare staff member’s first day of employment.


2. Must pass BCI, FBI, and all other related background clearance as mandated by Holzer Health System and ODJFS for childcare center licensing.


3. Must maintain all annual health and safety training required by Holzer Health System and the ODJFS licensing requirements (i.e. First Aid, CPR, and Child Abuse courses for identification and reporting).
