We proudly serve the automotive, construction, agriculture, and heavy truck industries, delivering quality products and exceptional service to customers across North America. Since 1967, we've built our reputation on precision, reliability, and continuous improvement and we're looking to add to our team.

We are seeking a hands-on Quality Manager to lead the company’s quality function, strengthen quality systems, improve process discipline, and partner with operations to reduce defects, scrap, rework, and customer disruptions.

Position Summary:

The Quality Manager is responsible for leading all quality functions across the organization, including quality assurance, quality control, customer quality, supplier quality, quality documentation, and continuous improvement. This role combines strategic ownership of the Quality Management System with visible, hands-on leadership on the manufacturing floor. The ideal candidate brings strong technical quality expertise, practical manufacturing judgment, and the leadership presence required to drive accountability and sustainable improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Leadership & Systems

  • Lead, develop, and manage quality personnel, inspection processes, and quality department priorities.
  • Own the Quality Management System and maintain alignment with applicable ISO and IATF requirements.
  • Develop, track, and report quality KPIs, including customer complaints, scrap, rework, internal defects, supplier quality, corrective action closure, and process capability trends.
  • Participate in daily leadership meetings and cross-functional planning to ensure quality priorities are integrated into production, scheduling, maintenance, and engineering decisions.
  • Customer & Supplier Quality

  • Serve as the primary customer-facing leader for quality issues, concerns, corrective actions, documentation, and escalations.
  • Oversee PPAP submissions, customer-specific requirements, quality documentation, and ongoing customer compliance expectations.
  • Establish and maintain effective supplier and inbound material quality processes, including issue containment, supplier corrective actions, and performance follow-up.
  • Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive corrective and preventive action programs using disciplined root-cause analysis and effective verification of countermeasures.
  • Analyze scrap, rework, defects, inspection findings, and process capability data to identify systemic improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with operations, engineering, maintenance, and production leadership to improve process controls, reduce variation, and prevent repeat quality failures.
  • Lead quality-related employee training, including standards, procedures, inspection methods, containment practices, and process controls.
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of quality leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems, auditing, SPC, CPK, APQP, PPAP, and root cause analysis.
  • Experience working with ISO and IATF standards.
  • Ability to read blueprints, technical specifications, and quality data.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience using precision measuring equipment and quality inspection tools.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Fastener industry experience.
  • ASQ Certification preferred (CMQ/OE, CQE, CQA, or equivalent).
  • Experience leading quality initiatives in a metal stamping or engineered products environment.

  • Why Join Us?

    • Competitive compensation package
    • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
    • Short-Term and Long-Term Disability benefits
    • 401(k) with company match
    • Generous paid time off and paid holidays
    • Weekly pay schedule
    • Opportunity to make a direct impact on quality, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
