Account Executive, Professional & Cyber Solutions

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Account Executive, Professional & Cyber Solutions based in the United States.

This role sits at the intersection of client advisory, insurance program design, and commercial relationship management within a specialized Professional & Cyber insurance practice. You will support the full lifecycle of client accounts, from new business development through renewals, ensuring tailored insurance solutions that meet complex risk profiles. The position requires close collaboration with producers, carriers, and internal teams to structure, market, and implement layered insurance programs. You will also play a key role in client engagement, presenting renewal results, advising on coverage options, and ensuring service excellence across a dedicated book of business. This is a highly client-facing role in a fast-paced environment where precision, communication, and market awareness are essential. It offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated cyber and professional liability risks while contributing directly to client retention and growth.

Accountabilities:
  • Support producers and senior account executives in managing new business and renewal submissions for Professional & Cyber Solutions clients.
  • Own day-to-day client service responsibilities for a dedicated book of business, ensuring responsiveness and high-quality execution.
  • Prepare and submit insurance placements to carriers, analyze quotes, and build clear comparisons for client decision-making.
  • Assist in structuring and optimizing layered insurance programs based on client needs and risk profiles.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and carrier partners, staying informed on market trends, product updates, and underwriting changes.
  • Participate in client and prospect meetings, including renewal presentations and new business pitches when required.
  • Collaborate with analytics partners to incorporate cyber risk intelligence and limit recommendations into client solutions.
  • Review policy documentation for accuracy and coordinate corrections with carriers as needed.
  • Conduct financial and claims data analysis to support program design and risk evaluation.
  • Assist in vendor contract reviews to ensure appropriate insurance requirements are met.
  • Support workflow coordination and may assist in supervising junior support staff.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Active state-specific insurance license required.
  • 1–5+ years of experience in insurance, account management, brokerage, or a related advisory role preferred.
  • Strong understanding of insurance products, ideally within professional liability, cyber, or commercial lines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong client-facing professionalism.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret quotes, coverage structures, and financial data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail and strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
