Join our Team! Leland Management is seeking a Maintenance Tech for one of our communities in the Lake Nona, FL area. The position is full-time (Friday through Tuesday) with competitive pay and excellent benefits.
Job Description
Ensure the property is in accordance with safety regulations, policies, and procedures
- Observes all safety rules and regulations to minimize risk, ensure the safety of employees and homeowners. Inspects property and common area for unsafe conditions, clears hazards; reports safety conditions, security issues and any suspicious activity.
- Works on assigned projects, makes appropriate decisions based on work experience and individual skills. Reports any issues that are beyond capabilities.
- Performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled facilities maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repairs.
- Inspects and maintains all swimming pools in accordance with County ordinances.
- Operates vehicles and other equipment in accordance with all safety regulations and procedures. Reports any mechanical problems.
- Completes incident and accident reports as required.
- Assist in any community events that may occur.
- Skilled In use of hand and power tools
- Ability to work individually
- Professional presentation and attitude
Qualifications:
- Experience in handyman tasks
- Experience working with hand and power tools
- Good work habits: punctuality, efficiency, and prioritizing tasks
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of safety codes and standards
- Attention to detail
- CPO license preferred
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects (100 lbs.)
- Perform moderate physical work
- Work with cleaning solvents
- Conditions may create dirt or dust.
- Ability to work weekends
