Vanguard Resources, Inc. (VRI), is hiring an experienced Plumbing Manager to lead our onsite team, at our client’s site - the Samsung Semiconductor facility in Taylor, TX—one of the most advanced semi-conductor fabrication campuses in the U.S.
This full-time, salaried role is ideal for someone with strong Plumbing and leadership experience who’s ready to start AND grow a team, while getting your hands dirty from time to time, while also working with both our internal VRI Sr. Leaders and Samsung’s leadership team. The supervisor must possess a current/valid Journeymen Plumbing license. Must have the ability to communicate well and be organized with client and employees. Able to manage subcontractors from the beginning stages of a new construction to the end. Have the skill-set to punch at all phases of plumbing with a clear understanding of plumbing physics.
What You’ll Do

- Oversee and manage all plumbing operations, ensuring efficient and effective project execution.
- Supervise and mentor a team of plumbers, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as construction and engineering, to ensure seamless project integration.
- Manage and schedule plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance projects.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing effective solutions.
- Ensure all work is performed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and code compliance.
- Monitor project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, schedules, and permits.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest plumbing technologies, codes, and best practices.
- Ensure PMs are done on time – every time
- Work with Samsung leadership and Vanguard’s Leadership & Corporate teams (HR, Accounting regarding purchasing, reporting, payroll, recruiting, employee relations, etc.)
- All other duties as assigned by Client and VRI leadership
- Help develop a team and shape operations for a trusted/established organization, within a brand-new facility on a brand new campus
- This campus is currently experiencing significant growth, and constant construction.

Requirements:- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a licensed plumber.
- Valid plumbing Journeymen license or certification, required.
- Minimum of 3+ years of management, experience leading others
- Proficiency in plumbing codes and regulations.
- OSHA 30 (can be obtained once hired, if needed) – required
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience with plumbing software and tools.
- Valid driver’s license/clean record
- Successfully pass criminal background check & drug test(s)
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills. Ability to relate well with employees
- Superior client interaction with effective communication skills; both written and verbal
- Professional demeanor
- Computer and technology savvy

- Exceptional organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
