Advanced Technologies Architect

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Advanced Technologies Architect based in the United States United States.

This role is responsible for designing and evolving a next-generation, AI-enabled content and knowledge architecture that powers global training and enablement systems. It sits at the intersection of information architecture, enterprise platforms, and applied AI, shaping how critical learning content is structured, discovered, and optimized at scale. The position plays a key role in transforming traditional content ecosystems into intelligent, automated, and highly governed digital environments. You will architect and oversee SharePoint-based platforms that support global learning, sales enablement, and operational excellence. The role requires translating complex business and instructional needs into scalable, secure, and future-ready technical solutions. It is highly collaborative, working across IT, enablement, and business teams to drive adoption and innovation. This is a strategic architecture role with direct impact on productivity, content quality, and organizational knowledge flow.

Accountabilities:
  • Design and own the end-to-end architecture of SharePoint-based content and knowledge management platforms supporting global training and enablement needs.
  • Define and implement information architecture standards including taxonomy, metadata, permissions, and content lifecycle governance.
  • Integrate AI capabilities such as intelligent tagging, search optimization, summarization, and content recommendations to enhance usability and discoverability.
  • Lead technical implementation of SharePoint ecosystems, including workflows, integrations, and connectivity with LMS, CRM, and related platforms.
  • Establish governance frameworks for content creation, versioning, compliance, and retirement across global teams.
  • Partner with IT, security, and enterprise architecture teams to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant solutions.
  • Enable adoption through documentation, templates, playbooks, and stakeholder training for content owners and administrators.
  • Monitor platform performance and user behavior to continuously improve architecture, workflows, and AI-driven capabilities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience designing SharePoint-based content, knowledge management, or enterprise information systems.
  • Strong expertise in information architecture, metadata design, taxonomy development, and content governance frameworks.
  • Experience applying AI, automation, or machine learning concepts to content management, search, or knowledge systems.
  • Proven ability to translate business, learning, and enablement needs into scalable technical architectures.
  • Experience integrating enterprise platforms (e.g., LMS, CRM, or digital enablement tools).
  • Strong collaboration skills across IT, marketing, enablement, and business stakeholders in complex environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to engage both technical teams and non-technical audiences effectively.
