Senior Campaign Design Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Campaign Design Analyst based in the United States.

This role sits at the core of advanced marketing operations and audience design, responsible for building and optimizing highly targeted campaign selections across B2B and B2C channels. You will leverage relational databases and marketing platforms to design precise audience segments that drive impactful direct mail, email, and digital campaigns. The position requires deep analytical expertise, strong technical fluency, and a solid understanding of campaign management systems such as Unica Campaign and Salesforce Data Cloud. You will ensure data integrity and accuracy across complex selection logic while supporting continuous improvement of campaign performance and system efficiency. Working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, you will partner with cross-functional teams to solve data challenges and enhance campaign execution. This is a highly detail-oriented role where your work directly influences customer engagement and marketing effectiveness. It is well suited for an analytical professional who thrives at the intersection of data, marketing strategy, and technology.

Accountabilities:
  • Design and execute audience selection and campaign builds across Unica Campaign and Salesforce Data Cloud platforms.
  • Analyze relational data structures to ensure accurate targeting and alignment with business requirements.
  • Optimize campaign logic and system usage to improve performance, scalability, and execution efficiency.
  • Perform quality assurance, peer reviews, and validation of campaign outputs in pre-production and production environments.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements and IT-driven campaign updates.
  • Troubleshoot complex data, selection, and campaign execution issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support campaign delivery timelines and business objectives.
  • Develop documentation, training materials, and best practices for campaign design processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to optimization initiatives.
  • Mentor junior team members and support knowledge sharing across the campaign design function.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of experience in direct response marketing, campaign management, or audience/data selection roles.
  • Strong expertise working with relational databases and complex data analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with MS-SQL, Salesforce Data Cloud, campaign management tools, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Proven ability to design and execute multi-channel campaigns across email, direct mail, and digital platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional, project-driven environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within tight deadlines.
  • Experience with Unica Campaign Designer or Salesforce Data Cloud certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Familiarity with Adobe Workfront is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
