Aimbridge Corporate - Vice President Global Business Services Transformation

As Vice President of Global Business Services Transformation, youll design and lead a scalable global business services model, beginning with the offshore transition of Hotel Accounting and Accounts Payable to a BPO partner in Hyderabad, India. You will shape the operating model, elevate performance, and lead change across teams, partners, and stakeholders.

This role is for you if you know how to turn complex finance transformation into lasting business impact while building trust across teams and geographies.

  • You bring deep experience leading GBS, shared services, or offshoring transformations in finance operations.
  • You can balance strategy and execution while building an inclusive, high-performing global team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required; MBA, CPA, CA, or similar credentials preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in finance, shared services, or business transformation, including 5+ years in senior leadership.
  • Proven success leading large-scale GBS or offshoring transformations with P&L accountability, ideally involving India-based delivery centers and offshore teams of 100+ FTEs.
  • Strong expertise in Accounting Operations and Accounts Payable, including Record-to-Report and Purchase-to-Pay, ideally in hospitality or other multi-unit finance environments.
  • Hands-on experience with finance technologies and analytics tools such as SAP S/4HANA, BlackLine, AP automation platforms, Power BI, Tableau, and related business intelligence solutions.
  • Track record of leading complex, multi-million-dollar transformation programs on aggressive timelines; Big 4 or GBS advisory experience and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or similar certification are a plus.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Transformation Strategy & Execution

  • Lead the end-to-end GBS transformation roadmap, starting with Hotel Accounting and Accounts Payable, in line with executive priorities and business commitments.
  • Partner with EPMO, advisors, consultants, and technology teams to manage milestones, risks, escalation, and delivery.
  • Provide ongoing leadership for shared services operations once the transition is complete.

Process Optimization & Automation

  • Standardize Hotel Accounting and AP processes before migration using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methods to reduce waste and exceptions.
  • Advance automation through SAP S/4HANA, Coupa, BlackLine, AP automation tools, RPA, AI, and dashboards that improve visibility for US stakeholders.
  • Build a culture of continuous improvement grounded in strong controls, SOX compliance, audit readiness, and data-driven performance management.

GBS Expansion & Scalability

  • Assess additional functions for migration based on savings potential, complexity, and readiness.
  • Build repeatable playbooks that accelerate future waves of GBS expansion, including AI-enabled finance operations such as intelligent document processing, predictive analytics, and exception management automation.

Change Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the executive voice of the transformation, communicating progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leaders and business partners.
  • Lead organizational change efforts that support restructuring, redeployment, and workforce transition with clarity and empathy.
  • Manage key relationships with vendors, technology providers, and third-party service partners.

Global Team Leadership & Culture

  • Build, develop, and retain a high-performing global team across US leadership and an offshore delivery center of 100+ FTEs.
  • Create an inclusive, high-trust culture grounded in learning, accountability, and One Team collaboration across geographies.

After an initial waiting period, those hired into full time positions are eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes the following:
