Position Overview
The Experiential Partnerships Manager drives local business development, event revenue and partnership opportunities for the Simplevenue restaurant group, including Sushi by Bou, Omakaseed, Wagyu Room, and Sushi Suite. Based in New York, this role manages incoming event and catering leads for New York and the Northeast, develops local business and referral relationships across markets, supports key New York events on-site, and works closely with marketing on collaborations, activations and business lead generation.
Pay
$55,000 base salary plus commission.
Responsibilities
Develop local outreach strategies and scalable initiatives across markets to generate new business and event opportunities.
Build relationships with hotels, residential buildings, corporate offices, concierges, event planners, local businesses and other referral partners.
Identify opportunities for private events, catering, corporate dining, buyouts and recurring business.
Manage incoming event and catering inquiries for New York and the Northeast from initial contact through booking and follow-up.
Prepare proposals and coordinate pricing, availability and event details with venue and operations teams.
Maintain an active pipeline of prospective clients, partners and event opportunities.
Attend key New York events and serve as an on-site point of contact for clients and partners.
Work closely with marketing on creative partnerships, collaborations, activations and business lead generation.
Coordinate with operations, culinary and venue teams to support successful event execution.
Track lead activity, booked revenue, conversion and repeat business.
Qualifications
Experience in hospitality, events, business development, partnerships, sales or experiential marketing.
Strong knowledge of the New York hospitality and events landscape.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and generate new business.
Strong communication, organization and follow-through.
Proactive, resourceful and comfortable developing opportunities independently.
Ability to manage multiple leads, events and priorities simultaneously.
Comfortable balancing business development with hands-on event support.
Available to attend evening and weekend events as needed.
