This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Quality Control Inspector – US Shift in India.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of precision-manufactured components delivered to global customers across industries such as aerospace, automotive, robotics, and climate technology. Operating in a fully remote inspection environment, you will review technical documentation, part images, and compliance reports from international manufacturing partners. The position requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to work within tight US shift timelines. You will be responsible for ensuring that only fully conforming parts are approved for shipment, directly contributing to on-time, defect-free delivery performance. The role offers exposure to advanced manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, and 3D printing. - Review engineering documentation, inspection reports, part photographs, and First Article Inspection (FAI) records to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Approve or reject parts by ensuring adherence to customer requirements, industry standards (ASM, ASTM, SAE/AMS, ISO), and internal quality protocols.
- Validate Material Test Certificates (MTCs) and other compliance documents prior to authorizing shipment release.
- Record non-conformances in internal systems and clearly communicate rejection reasons to manufacturing partners for corrective action.
- Coordinate with manufacturing partners and internal teams to resolve quality issues and clarify technical requirements before release decisions.
- Support on-time delivery performance by ensuring timely inspection and release of conforming parts within strict operational deadlines.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing inspection processes, efficiency, and quality standards.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing quality control or inspection roles.
- Strong experience working with precision manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, and 3D printing.
- Hands-on experience reviewing FAI reports and Material Test Certificates (MTCs).
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality compliance standards.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong visual inspection capability and accuracy in documentation review.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup aligned with US business hours.
