Overview
Nova Color Acrylic Paint is looking for a Marketing Manager who has a real appreciation for art, creativity, and the people who make things.
Whether you paint on weekends, frequent galleries, or simply have a deep respect for the creative process, we are looking for a marketer who understands the creative mindset, can speak authentically to an artist audience, and has a genuine appreciation for the products we create.
This is a hands on role that spans social content, email marketing, community engagement, product launches, reporting, and campaign planning. But just as important as executing campaigns is staying genuinely plugged into the artist community. That means listening closely, identifying patterns in how artists talk about their work and their tools, and surfacing the kinds of insights that help shape what we build and how we show up as a brand.
Nova Color is at an inflection point, and this role will have meaningful influence on how the brand grows. If you are a collaborative, hands on marketing generalist who bridges creative instinct with analytical thinking, we would love to hear from you.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Build and manage the marketing promotional calendar across email, social, paid media, product launches, partnerships, and seasonal campaigns.
- Partner closely with leadership to align marketing initiatives with overall brand strategy, revenue goals, customer insights, and key business priorities.
- Oversee and guide Nova Color’s social media presence, ensuring content feels authentic to the artist community while driving engagement, brand awareness, and revenue.
- Collaborate closely with content creators, artists, and community partners to develop thoughtful, inspiring, and educational marketing content.
- Review and approve marketing communications across CRM, email, eComm, and social channels to ensure consistency in brand voice and quality.
- Work cross-functionally with Customer Service and Community Management teams to ensure customer-facing messaging is aligned, thoughtful, and artist-first.
- Analyze campaign performance using Google Analytics, Shopify, Triple Whale, and other reporting tools to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights.
- Present weekly business updates and monthly performance recaps to leadership, including pacing, campaign performance, customer insights, and growth opportunities.
- Stay current on trends within the art, creator, social media, and digital marketing spaces, while understanding what resonates with artists and creative communities.
- Support product launches, promotional initiatives, partnerships, events, and artist collaborations as needed.
- Contribute creative ideas while also being willing to execute and manage day-to-day operational work.
- Maintain a highly organized workflow while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Experience & Qualifications
Required
- Genuine passion for painting, art, and creative communities. Someone with a genuine understanding of artists, creative workflows, and the communities that surround them.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where priorities can evolve quickly.
- Ability to balance creativity with analytical thinking and business goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and reporting tools.

- Collaborative mindset with a willingness to jump in where needed.
- Must be based in the Los Angeles area and able to work onsite three days per week.
