Job Description
Plumbing Sales Estimator – Service | Rough-In / Re-Pipe
Fischer Services | Snohomish County, Washington
Top performers deserve to work with top teams.
Fischer Services is growing, and we’re looking for a sharp, relationship-driven Plumbing Sales Estimator who understands the trade, knows how to build trust with customers, and can confidently turn opportunities into sold work.
This is not an order-taker position. This is a high-impact role for someone who can identify customer needs, build accurate solutions, present options with confidence, and close profitable work across:
• Water line replacements
• Service plumbing solutions
• Rough-in plumbing
• Whole-home re-pipes
• Residential and light commercial opportunities
We’re looking for someone who brings more than technical knowledge—someone who understands ownership, leadership, operational accountability, and what it takes to build and support high-performing teams. The right individual will be equally comfortable earning trust in the field, partnering with leadership in the office, mentoring others, and helping drive operational excellence.
If you’re a licensed plumber who enjoys the customer side of the business as much as the technical side—or you’re a proven estimator with deep plumbing knowledge, leadership experience, and strong business acumen—we want to talk.
What You’ll Do
• Meet with residential and light commercial customers
• Diagnose plumbing system needs and identify opportunities
• Build accurate, profitable estimates and proposals
• Scope service, rough-in, and re-pipe projects
• Coordinate with operations, field teams, permitting, and scheduling
• Follow leads quickly and professionally
• Build customer confidence through education—not pressure
• Maintain pipeline activity, forecasting, and job handoffs
• Help grow one of the strongest plumbing brands in the Pacific Northwest
• Partner with leadership to support operational consistency, production goals, and exceptional customer outcomes
• Help mentor and elevate field talent by sharing technical knowledge, best practices, and accountability standards
• Bring a leadership mindset that supports long-term growth, profitability, and team development
What We’re Looking For
Required:
• 8+ years of plumbing industry experience
• Strong knowledge of:
o Service plumbing
o Rough-in systems
o Residential re-pipes
• Ability to read plans, scope projects, and build accurate estimates
• Strong communication and closing skills
• Clean driving record
• Professional appearance and presence
• Ability to lead through influence, build trust quickly, and hold yourself and others accountable
• Strong business judgment with an understanding of customer experience, operational efficiency, and profitable project execution
Highly Preferred:
• Washington State plumbing license
(PL01 or PL02 strongly preferred)
• Sales estimating experience
• Previous leadership, project management, field supervision, or operational management experience
• Experience coaching teams, driving accountability, and partnering with operations leadership
• Experience with CRM, estimating software, tablets, and digital proposals
Who Thrives Here
You’re someone who:
• Knows the difference between selling and serving
• Builds trust quickly
• Understands margins, production, and accountability
• Doesn’t need to be micromanaged
• Takes ownership from first customer contact through sold project
• Leads by example and earns respect through action, consistency, and technical credibility
• Understands how to develop people, solve problems, and help build strong teams
• Wants to be part of a company that is growing, investing, and raising the bar
