This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist 3 in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to one of the most advanced clean energy initiatives in the nuclear sector by supporting quality assurance operations tied to highly regulated engineering and manufacturing environments. As part of a collaborative quality team, you will help ensure compliance with rigorous industry standards, supplier requirements, and regulatory expectations while driving operational excellence across multiple programs. The position is ideal for professionals who combine strong auditing expertise with a passion for process improvement, technical precision, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with suppliers, engineering teams, and stakeholders to strengthen quality systems and support corrective action initiatives in a rapidly evolving environment. This fully remote role also provides meaningful exposure to cutting-edge nuclear technologies, large-scale compliance programs, and international quality frameworks. Candidates who enjoy balancing technical oversight with strategic process improvement will find strong long-term growth potential in this opportunity.

Accountabilities:
  • Conduct and support supplier qualification audits, implementation audits, surveillances, and internal quality assurance assessments as a qualified NQA-1 Lead Auditor.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve quality assurance processes, procedures, work instructions, and compliance documentation aligned with industry and regulatory standards.
  • Review internal procedures and procurement documentation to ensure quality requirements are accurately identified, documented, and communicated to suppliers and vendors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure quality standards, regulatory expectations, and customer requirements are clearly understood and implemented effectively.
  • Support corrective action programs by evaluating supplier responses, monitoring implementation effectiveness, and contributing to root cause or causal analysis activities.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance related to nuclear quality assurance systems, compliance frameworks, and quality management best practices.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives designed to strengthen operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and quality program maturity.
  • Maintain strong documentation practices and contribute to audit readiness, reporting, and continuous compliance monitoring activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related discipline required; equivalent directly applicable experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Current certification as a Nuclear Lead Auditor within a 10 CFR 50 Appendix B or NQA-1 environment is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting the development, implementation, or oversight of nuclear quality assurance programs.
  • Strong knowledge of nuclear quality standards and regulatory frameworks including NQA-1, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, ASME BPVC Section III, and ISO 9001.
  • Experience conducting supplier audits, internal assessments, and quality surveillance activities in regulated environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create technical documentation, procedures, reports, and presentations.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in dynamic, evolving project environments.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, documentation management, and cross-functional collaboration tools.
  • Commercial nuclear industry experience and exposure to international quality standards are highly preferred.
  • Eligibility to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810 requirements is required.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and occasionally internationally as business needs require.

Benefits:

  • Fully remote position available within the contiguous United States.
  • Competitive annual compensation with a target salary range of approximately $108,908 to $131,441, with broader earning potential based on experience and qualifications.
  • Comprehensive healthcare and employee benefits package.
  • Opportunity to work on innovative, next-generation energy and nuclear technology initiatives.
  • Exposure to highly regulated, technically advanced projects with strong long-term industry impact.
  • Collaborative and mission-driven work environment focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Career development opportunities through cross-functional collaboration, technical leadership, and quality program advancement.
