Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain enterprise software architecture standards, patterns, and reference implementations.
  • Lead design and architecture reviews for strategic initiatives and platform modernization efforts.
  • Partner with development, DevOps, QA, and security teams to implement scalable and secure engineering practices.
  • Establish architectural guidance for cloud-native applications, APIs, microservices, and event-driven solutions.
  • Drive adoption of CI/CD pipelines, automated quality gates, observability, and software delivery best practices.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, AI-enabled engineering solutions, and automation capabilities to improve developer productivity.
  • Develop reusable frameworks, templates, and architectural accelerators that increase delivery consistency across teams.
  • Collaborate with business and technology leaders to align technical strategy with organizational objectives.
  • Mentor engineers and technical leads through architecture reviews, technical coaching, and engineering communities of practice.
  • Support production reliability, scalability, performance optimization, and operational readiness initiatives.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of software development experience with at least 3–5 years in an architecture or technical leadership role.
  • Strong experience designing and implementing distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications.
  • Hands-on expertise with Azure cloud services, including architecture, security, monitoring, and scalability.
  • Proficiency with modern development platforms and languages such as.NET/C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar technologies.
  • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, infrastructure automation, and quality engineering frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, domain-driven design, event-driven architecture, and system integration strategies.
  • Experience designing solutions that meet security, compliance, availability, performance, and resiliency requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate architecture decisions and technical strategy to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Proven experience mentoring engineers and driving engineering excellence across multiple teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with enterprise test automation frameworks and quality engineering practices.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, container platforms, and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted software development and engineering productivity tools.
  • Experience defining engineering metrics, SLOs, observability, and reliability practices.
  • Relevant cloud or architecture certifications (Azure Solutions Architect, TOGAF, etc.).

  • Improved software quality through architecture governance and quality gate adoption.
  • Reduced operational risk through scalable, secure, and resilient system designs.
  • Successful mentoring and development of technical leaders across the organization.
