Generative AI Associate - Flexible Hours

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Generative AI Associate - Flexible Hours based in Canada.

Join an exciting opportunity to contribute to the advancement of generative artificial intelligence by supporting the development and evaluation of large language models. In this flexible, project-based remote role, you'll collaborate on a variety of AI training initiatives while choosing work that fits your schedule. Your expertise in language, critical thinking, and analysis will help improve the quality, accuracy, and reasoning capabilities of next-generation AI systems. Working on diverse assignments, you'll play a meaningful role in shaping innovative technologies alongside a global network of contributors. This position is ideal for intellectually curious professionals who enjoy solving complex language challenges and want to make a tangible impact in the evolving AI landscape.

Accountabilities:
  • Evaluate and assess AI model outputs based on predefined quality, accuracy, relevance, and behavioral guidelines.
  • Annotate, classify, categorize, and label text, images, audio, or other digital content to support AI model training and evaluation.
  • Review content and identify whether product features or model outputs meet project specifications and expected behaviors.
  • Rank and compare content or model responses according to established evaluation criteria.
  • Create prompts and questions that help improve the performance and reasoning capabilities of language models.
  • Generate high-quality responses, rewritten content, summaries, and paraphrased text while maintaining accuracy and adherence to project guidelines.
  • Perform content relevance assessments using standardized scoring methodologies.
  • Support dataset creation and enhancement through data collection, transformation, and augmentation techniques.
  • Transcribe audio content and contribute to translation tasks when applicable.
  • Consistently follow project instructions, quality standards, and deadlines across multiple AI-focused assignments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a humanities-related discipline is required.
  • Master's degree or PhD is strongly preferred.
  • Professional or expert-level English proficiency (C1/C2).
  • Excellent written communication, grammar, editing, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret and consistently apply detailed project guidelines.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, project-based environment.
  • Interest in artificial intelligence, language technologies, and large language models.
  • Experience in writing, linguistics, education, research, translation, content analysis, or related fields is advantageous.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to deliver high-quality work within project timelines.
