About OSW Group

OSW Group is a fast growing global ecosystem of businesses united by a shared vision to accelerate the world's transition to smarter, more sustainable energy and technology solutions. Our portfolio includes One Stop Warehouse (OSW), GreenSketch, GreenDeal, Manta and Sunmine, combining expertise across renewable energy, AI-powered software, energy finance and digital infrastructure to drive innovation on a global scale.

With operations across Australia, Singapore, China, Europe, the United States and Mexico—and continuing to expand into new markets—we're creating opportunities for ambitious people to build meaningful, international careers. While each of our businesses has its own unique focus, we're connected by a collaborative culture, entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for challenging what's possible.

When you join OSW Group, you're joining more than a company—you're becoming part of a global team that's shaping the future of clean energy and technology. We invest in our people, encourage fresh ideas, celebrate success and provide the opportunity to grow alongside a business that's only just getting started.

Position objective: OSW is a solar and battery distributor operating across Australia, EMEA and the Americas, and we are building our distribution business in the Philippines. As our first finance hire in the country, you will keep our books accurate, manage stock and customer credit, and keep our tax filings and reports compliant with Philippine rules. You will work closely with the group finance team and local sales and operations.

What You'll DoDistribution Finance, Inventory and Credit Control
  • Handle inventory accounting: stock counts, costing, landed cost (freight, insurance, duties, import VAT, brokerage), and provisions for slow-moving, obsolete or damaged stock.
  • Work with logistics and customs brokers so that import entries, BOC duties and import VAT are correct and properly supported.
  • Reconcile warehouse and 3PL stock records to the ledger every month and investigate differences.
  • Report gross margin by product, customer and channel, and check pricing, rebates and discounts against what was approved.
  • Assess credit applications from installers, dealers and resellers, including KYC checks, and recommend credit terms and limits.
  • Review aged debtors, follow up overdue accounts, flag risky customers early, and work to lower DSO.
  • Manage write-offs, bad debt provisions and payment plans, keeping the records BIR needs for tax deductions.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and track cash, working capital and foreign-currency exposure on USD and AUD purchases.
Accounting and Reporting
  • Prepare journal entries, accruals and credit notes in line with PFRS, and run month-end and year-end close.
  • Maintain the general ledger and complete balance sheet and bank reconciliations on time.
  • Prepare monthly management reports and group reporting packs for the head office, converting to group format where needed.
  • Record and reconcile intercompany transactions with group entities, including stock purchases and recharges.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, including foreign-currency transactions.
Philippine Tax and Compliance
  • Prepare and file all BIR returns on time, including VAT, expanded and compensation withholding tax, income tax, alphalists and summary lists of sales and purchases.
  • Keep invoicing EOPT-compliant, keep registered books of accounts up to date, and prepare for BIR e-invoicing (EIS) requirements as they apply to us.
  • Manage withholding tax on supplier payments, collect BIR Form 2307 from customers, and reconcile creditable withholding tax.
  • Prepare transfer pricing files and BIR Form 1709 for related-party transactions.
  • Support the external audit and the filing of audited financial statements and the General Information Sheet with the SEC.
  • Support BIR audits and assessments, track new BIR and SEC rules (such as CREATE MORE), and brief the head office on their impact.
Set-Up, Controls and Other Tasks
  • Help set up local finance processes, policies and approval steps, working with group finance.
  • Help keep registrations current with the BIR, SEC and local government (business permits), and support payroll and SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG filings.
  • Follow and improve internal controls over sales, purchasing, stock and payments, and report problems promptly.
  • Act as a main local contact for auditors, banks, tax advisers, customs brokers and group finance.
  • Help improve systems such as ERP, automation and reporting tools, and take on extra reports and projects as needed.
  • Keep financial, customer and employee information confidential.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting or Finance.
  • At least 5 years' accounting experience, including at least 2 years at a distribution, trading, wholesale or import business in the Philippines.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Philippine taxation and BIR filings: VAT, withholding tax, income tax, and recent EOPT and CREATE / CREATE MORE changes.
  • Experience in inventory and import accounting: landed costs, customs (BOC) duties and import VAT, stock counts and stock reconciliations.
  • Familiar with PFRS, SEC reporting and the external audit process.
  • Hands-on experience with month-end and year-end close and reconciliations.
  • Proven experience setting credit limits and managing collections with dealer or reseller customers.
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modelling) and experience with an ERP or accounting system (such as SAP Business One, NetSuite, Oracle, Xero or QuickBooks).
  • Excellent written and spoken English, and confident negotiating with customers.
  • Independent, organised and hands-on: comfortable being the only finance person on the ground and working with a remote group team.
  • You don't need to know and do everything right away, but we need someone who has a growth mindset and can pick up fast from scratch
Nice to Have
  • Licensed CPA (active PRC license).
  • Experience with solar, electrical, battery or other energy products.
  • Experience reporting to an overseas head office (group reporting packs, intercompany reconciliations, foreign-currency transactions).
  • Big 4 or mid-tier audit firm background.
  • Experience with an ERP implementation or BIR e-invoicing / CAS set-up.
  • Experience with BOI or PEZA registration and incentives.
  • Mandarin is a plus.
