Sheet Metal Foreman in Phoenix, Arizona at Midstate Mechanical, LLC

Midstate Mechanical LLC is looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Foreman to join our growing Commercial HVAC team. If you’re an experienced sheet metal professional who knows how to lead a crew, read the prints, keep production moving, and deliver quality work safely, we want to hear from you.

*This is a hands-on field leadership position working on commercial construction projects throughout the Phoenix metro area.*

• Lead and coordinate sheet metal crews on commercial HVAC projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Oversee fabrication, assembly, and installation of commercial sheet metal systems.
• Coordinate daily activities with Project Managers, Superintendents, and other trades.
• Monitor schedules, manpower, materials, and production to keep projects on track.
• Perform quality-control inspections and ensure work meets project specifications and SMACNA standards.
• Ensure crews follow OSHA requirements and Midstate safety standards.
• Operate and oversee sheet metal tools and equipment, including shears, brakes, and welding equipment.
• Track labor hours, materials, and project progress.
• Train and mentor mechanics and apprentices.

• 7+ years of commercial sheet metal experience required.
• Previous Sheet Metal Foreman or Lead Mechanic experience in commercial construction.
• Strong blueprint and mechanical drawing interpretation skills.
• Working knowledge of SMACNA fabrication and installation standards.
• Strong understanding of OSHA and jobsite safety requirements.
• Proven ability to lead crews and manage field operations.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Valid Driver’s License with an insurable driving record.
• Bluebeam or Primavera experience is a plus.

Pay: $38.00–$48.00/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday, minimum 40 hours per week
