Job Description
We are seeking a relationship- driven Sr. Account Manager to manage and grow existing client accounts within our digital healthcare portfolio. This role focuses on building trusted partnerships, ensuring high client satisfaction, and expanding account value through proactive management of books of business, renewals, upselling, and expansion. The ideal candidate has a strong background in account management, understands carrier relationship with TPA, broker, and direct employer sales, which thrives on helping clients achieve long-term success while driving company growth. Exhibits confidence in client facing opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Book Management: Strategically manage a book of business above 1 million in revenue, ensure timely update of client, prospects, partners and vendors. Demonstrate the ability to illustrate the value of products and services to create growth, compile and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Process Support: Manage and support proactive strategies and processes to support the end to end management of a book of strategic accounts. Activities include monitoring utilization and growth data, quarterbacking sales, operations and AM to support client.
- Client Relationship Management: Work across operations, AM, sales and client contacts to support proactive management of key clients.
- Account Expansion: Proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing clients; introduce new products, services, or platform features aligned with client needs.
- Retention & Renewals: Ensure high client satisfaction and retention rates by addressing issues quickly, demonstrating ongoing value, and driving successful renewals.
- Strategic Account Planning: Develop account growth strategies and success plans tailored to client business objectives, ensuring alignment with both short- and long-term goals.
- Consultative Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor, leveraging healthcare and industry knowledge to recommend solutions that improve efficiency, patient engagement, and outcomes.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with operations, implementation, clinical, and product teams to deliver on client expectations and support growth initiatives.
- Client Advocacy: Represent client feedback internally to influence product development and service enhancements.
- Performance & Reporting: Maintain accurate pipeline, forecast, and account activity in CRM systems; consistently meet or exceed client growth and retention targets.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or related field (required)
Experience:
- 3–5+ years of account management, client success, or sales operations experience,preferably in digital health.
- Experience in end-to-end process optimization for strategic book management
- Previous experience with claims processing and adjustment management.
- Familiarity Third Party Administrators, Aggregators and Resellers.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot) and pipeline management.
Preferred:
- Experience in digital health, telemedicine, health insurance carrier or healthcare IT account management.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulatory and compliance requirements (HIPAA, CMS, etc.).
- Claims processing knowledge.
Location Preferences:
This role is open to Remote in Birmingham, A.L., or Hybrid in Minneapolis, M.N.
