Position Summary:

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented HR Generalist to help deliver an excellent team member experience from day one. This role will lead onboarding coordination, maintain accurate team member data, support benefits administration, assist with recruiting activities, and serve as a trusted resource for general team member questions. The ideal candidate is service-minded, organized, and comfortable balancing accuracy, confidentiality, and responsiveness in a fast-paced professional services environment.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding and Offboarding: Lead and coordinate the onboarding experience for new team members, including preparing onboarding materials, ordering background checks, conducting orientation sessions, completing I-9s, and helping new team members feel welcomed, informed, and prepared to succeed. Coordinate timely offboarding steps and support exit interview processes.

  • Employee Data and HR Systems: Accurately maintain team member information in HR systems, support data integrity through regular review and reconciliation, and assist with HR-related reporting, invoice review, and documentation.

  • Benefits Support: Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, team member questions, and coordination with internal stakeholders and external providers as needed.

  • Payroll Support: Provide limited support in payroll preparation, including data collection, verification, and assisting with payroll-related inquiries.

  • Recruiting Screening: Support the recruitment process by screening resumes, conducting initial candidate assessments, and coordinating interviews.

  • Team Member Relations: Provide responsive, high-quality service to team members and candidates by answering general HR questions through email, phone, and chat, while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

  • Team Member Evaluations: Oversee and coordinate the semi-annual team member evaluation process, including timeline management, communication with leaders and team members, tracking completion, and supporting consistent documentation and follow-through.

  • Other: perform clerical functions and other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Education and Experience:

  • At least two years related experience preferred

  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Salary:

$62,000- $70,000

Hours:

This is a full-time salaried position with general business hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; business needs may occasionally require flexibility outside of standard hours. In office in Salt Lake City.
