Sit-Down Forklift Operator in Garden City, Georgia at DarkHorse Express Solutions Inc.

Location: Garden City, GA
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Start Time: 6:55 AM – End time based on daily production needs

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to become part of our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift and other material-handling equipment while moving and positioning products throughout the facility.

This is a fast-paced work environment where safety, productivity, teamwork, and dependability are essential. The ideal candidate will have hands-on forklift experience and be comfortable working in a warehouse or distribution setting.

• Operate forklifts safely to move materials and products throughout the warehouse.

• Load and unload trailers while preventing damage to products and equipment.

• Move, stage, and properly store inventory in assigned areas.

• Retrieve and transport products to support daily orders and production needs.

• Complete required equipment safety checks before operating machinery.

• Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or damaged materials to a supervisor.

• Ensure products are placed correctly and assist with inventory accuracy.

• Use scanners, labels, and other warehouse tools as needed.

• Follow all safety rules, company procedures, and facility guidelines.

• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.

• Work with supervisors and coworkers to complete daily production and shipping goals.

• Previous forklift experience is required.

• Warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or distribution experience is a plus.

• Ability to safely handle and transport different types and sizes of materials.

• Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset.

• Ability to follow instructions and company procedures.

• Dependable attendance and punctuality.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment.

• $18.00 per hour
