Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Site Supervisor to lead daily operations and maintenance (O&M) activities at a large federal facility in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This role is responsible for overseeing site personnel, coordinating resources, ensuring operational excellence, and serving as the primary on-site leader to support facility and environmental service requirements.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, operations and maintenance, or environmental services, along with proven experience leading teams in a complex operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of site operations and maintenance activities.Direct and coordinate contractor personnel, resources, tools, materials, and equipment to ensure contract requirements are met.Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for operational issues, scheduling, and performance management.Monitor work quality, safety compliance, and operational efficiency.Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of maintenance, environmental, and facility-related services.Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high standards of customer service and mission readiness.
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance.Associate degree in Facilities Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; equivalent technical training, military experience, certifications, or relevant education may be considered in lieu of a degree.Minimum 5 years of experience in operations and maintenance (O&M), facilities management, environmental services, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience supporting large facilities, campuses, industrial sites, or complex operations.Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience managing teams and resources.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in Facilities Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; equivalent technical training, military experience, certifications, or relevant education may be considered in lieu of a degree.Experience in environmental programs, environmental compliance, or environmental field operations.Professional certifications related to facilities management, operations, environmental services, or project management.Experience supporting federal government or Department of Defense (DoD) facilities.
