This newly created role offers the opportunity to shape safer, healthier workplaces across diverse healthcare environments.
You will partner with leaders across hospital-at-home, community, in-home, virtual care and call centre operations.
The role combines strategic influence with hands-on safety leadership in dynamic, often non-traditional work settings.
You will help identify and manage risks, strengthen organisational safety capability and influence decision-making.
Working across complex stakeholder environments, you will use data and practical expertise to drive meaningful improvements.

The role offers a flexible hybrid environment, with particular relevance for candidates based in Adelaide or able to travel regularly.

• Partner with leaders to embed the organisation’s Health, Safety & Wellbeing strategy across diverse operational environments.
• Provide expert advice on Australian WHS legislation, risk management, compliance and safety practices.
• Lead incident investigations, risk assessments and audit activities to identify and address workplace risks.
• Analyse health, safety and people data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Develop and enhance HSW frameworks, policies, programs and practical safety initiatives.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and influence positive health, safety and wellbeing outcomes.
• Navigate complex and evolving healthcare environments with a pragmatic, commercially minded approach.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in Health, Safety & Wellbeing or a closely related field.
• Experience partnering with leaders in healthcare, community services, emergency services, aged care, disability, justice or other field-based operational environments.
• Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation, compliance requirements and risk management practices.
• Advanced reporting and data analysis capabilities, with the ability to translate insights into practical improvements.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to work across different levels of an organisation.
• Ability to work autonomously, challenge constructively, navigate complexity and drive outcomes.
• Relevant qualifications in WHS, Occupational Health, Risk Management or a related discipline.
• A confident, resilient and commercially minded approach, with the ability to build credibility quickly in complex environments.
