Dietary Manager in Ripley, Tennessee at Lauderdale Community Living Center

Lauderdale Community Living Center is looking for a Dietary Manager to lead and coordinate the daily operations of our Dietary Department. This position plays an important role in ensuring residents receive nutritious, safe, and quality meals while maintaining compliance with facility policies, resident care plans, physician orders, and applicable regulations.

The Dietary Manager will oversee department staff, food ordering and preparation, meal service, sanitation, and overall dietary operations.

• Lead and supervise the day-to-day operations of the Dietary Department.
• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise dietary employees.
• Plan, assign, and direct work while supporting a positive team environment.
• Conduct employee performance evaluations and address performance concerns as needed.
• Coordinate food ordering, storage, preparation, delivery, and clean-up.
• Maintain department sanitation, food safety, and employee safety standards.
• Ensure dietary policies and procedures are followed.
• Review resident diet information and address requests, changes, or inconsistencies.
• Participate in resident Care Plan development.
• Work closely with the Dietary Consultant to ensure menus and department practices meet nutritional standards, government regulations, and facility procedures.
• Communicate with residents, staff, and the resident food committee regarding dietary needs and concerns.
• Address complaints and work to resolve issues effectively.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to the CES mission, vision, and values through collaboration, teamwork, and compassionate service.
