The Information Security Engineer Sr is a leadership-level role responsible for strengthening and coordinating a comprehensive information security program. You will help protect critical technology and information systems across internal IT, e-commerce, web, and cloud environments. The role combines strategic security leadership with hands-on evaluation of threats, technologies, controls, and cyber resilience capabilities. You will help establish effective policies, processes, standards, and technical safeguards that support a resilient security environment. Working collaboratively across teams, you will translate emerging risks and regulatory requirements into practical security strategies. - Lead the coordination and implementation of a comprehensive information security program, including security policies, processes, standards, and technical controls.
- Take responsibility for protecting technology and information systems across internal IT environments, e-commerce platforms, and web- or cloud-based systems.
- Strengthen cyber resilience capabilities and help ensure systems can effectively withstand, respond to, and recover from security threats.
- Safeguard systems against unauthorized access and develop effective countermeasures to prevent and mitigate security breaches.
- Research and evaluate emerging information security trends, technologies, and industry practices, providing recommendations for improving the protection of information and systems.
- Assess security threats and their potential business impact while implementing strategies to detect, monitor, and generate alerts for security incidents.
- Help ensure information security practices remain compliant with applicable security regulations and privacy laws.
- Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders to promote collaboration, strengthen security awareness, and support consistent implementation of security requirements.
- A bachelor’s degree in information systems or a related discipline is preferred, with equivalent additional experience or a combination of education and relevant experience also considered.
- At least 6 years of experience in information technology or information security is required.
- Strong knowledge of information security principles, threat assessment, security controls, cyber resilience, and incident detection is essential.
- Experience evaluating security risks and translating those findings into practical protection strategies and technical or procedural countermeasures is expected.
- The ability to understand complex technology environments, including internal IT, web, cloud, and e-commerce systems, is highly valuable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required, along with the ability to evaluate emerging technologies and determine their practical security implications.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for coordinating with technical teams and explaining security priorities to diverse stakeholders.
- The ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, manage competing priorities, and operate effectively in a complex environment is important.
- Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.

- Competitive salary ranging from $115,336 to $159,286.40 USD, with final compensation influenced by skills, experience, certifications, education, and other relevant factors.
