What You'll Do

As a Medical Assistant, you'll work closely with our providers to deliver exceptional primary care while helping patients feel welcomed, informed, and cared for.

Responsibilities include:

  • Rooming patients and preparing them for their scheduled visits
  • Obtaining and documenting medical histories, current medications, and vital signs
  • Assisting providers with patient examinations and minor in-office procedures
  • Collecting specimens and performing routine screenings and clinical tests
  • Accurately documenting patient care and clinical information in Athena EMR (Electronic Medical Records system)
  • Supporting efficient patient flow throughout the clinic
  • Communicating professionally with patients, families, providers, and other members of the care team
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Medical Assistant Certification preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A team player who enjoys helping others
  • Experience in a medical office is helpful, but we encourage motivated candidates from healthcare or customer service backgrounds to apply
