Grocery Retail Sales Counselor - Northern New Jersey Territory in Secaucus, New Jersey at General Trading Co.

Description: General Trading is looking for an experienced Grocery Retail Sales Counselor to serve the Northern New Jersey territory as a liaison between their assigned stores and General Trading. They are responsible for visiting the stores on a regular basis, and ensuring that the accounts are functioning consistently with company expectations surrounding ordering 100% in all three departments (Grocery, Dairy and Frozen) from General Trading.

Functions:

• Provide assistance to store owners in the opening of departments product line in new stores and in major remodeling of existing departments
• Act as a liaison between General Trading and Customers
• Introduce, instruct and follow up on all Programs and Apps
• Promote buying Grocery, Dairy and Frozen exclusively through General Trading
• Review all applicable Sales Reports with stores
• Develop strong relationships throughout the store
• Inform accounts of competitive activity
• Develop strong relationships with store managers and staff
• Perform physical work in connection with space allocation
• Salary commensurate with experience

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3-5 years of Retail Sales experience
• Strong attention to detail and great organizational skills
• Bilingual English/Spanish
