Housekeeping Supervisor in Augusta, Georgia at StepStone Hospitality Inc.

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations and ensure our hotel maintains the highest standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and service. Responsibilities include supervising housekeeping associates, assigning room duties, inspecting guest rooms and public areas, managing inventory and supplies, addressing guest concerns, and ensuring compliance with hotel policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping or hotel supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead a team effectively.
• Must be able to communicate professionally with guests and associates.

• Open and close the Housekeeping Department in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper, including assigning room boards, distributing keys, and completing all required opening and closing procedures.
• Answer incoming Housekeeping calls promptly and professionally, ensuring guest requests and concerns are addressed in a timely manner.
• Monitor supply inventory, maintain established par levels, and submit orders as needed.
• Maintain an accurate lost-and-found log and inventory of missing items. Coordinate the shipment or mailing of claimed items to guests.
• Report equipment issues and items requiring repair to the appropriate supervisor and maintain equipment in good working condition.
• Protect the safety, security, and well-being of guests and associates while providing courteous and professional service.
