Job Description

Migration Deployment DMW Coordinator

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Migration Deployment DMW Coordinator based in Canada.

The Migration Deployment DMW Coordinator will play a critical role in coordinating and overseeing SAP data migration deployment documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely approvals throughout the production data loading lifecycle. Working in a remote environment, you will serve as the central point of coordination for Data Migration Work Packages (DMWs), managing documentation workflows across shared drives and Veeva systems. You will ensure that required documents are properly prepared, compiled, uploaded, reviewed, and approved by the relevant stakeholders. The role also involves coordinating with Business Data Owners and Computerized System Validation (CSV) teams to maintain quality and procedural compliance. By managing each stage of the migration documentation process, you will help ensure data integrity, secure document handling, and reliable production deployments. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in structured workflows and enjoys supporting complex data migration initiatives.

Accountabilities
  • Coordinate the end-to-end preparation, documentation, and approval workflow for SAP Data Migration Work Packages (DMWs) throughout the production data loading lifecycle.
  • Prepare the required cover sheets and organize them in the appropriate shared drive folders to initiate the data loading plan.
  • Compile migration documentation and create complete PDF packages, ensuring all required attachments are included and properly organized.
  • Upload finalized PDF documentation into the Veeva system in accordance with established procedures and workflow requirements.
  • Configure and execute the necessary security scope actions within Veeva to ensure appropriate document access and handling.
  • Initiate and coordinate the CSV review workflow and final approval process directly within Veeva.
  • Track the approval lifecycle and ensure all required stakeholders, including Business Data Owners and CSV teams, complete their reviews and approvals.
  • Monitor documentation progress, follow up on outstanding actions, and help resolve workflow issues that could delay migration deployment.
  • Ensure compliance with established data management and document lifecycle procedures, including deleting local DMW copies from shared drives once the required approvals are complete.
  • Maintain accurate documentation records and ensure all migration package activities follow established quality, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Act as the central coordination point for DMW-related activities, facilitating communication between stakeholders and ensuring each workflow step is completed in the correct sequence.
Requirements
  • Experience in data migration coordination, deployment support, document management, or a related operational role, preferably in an SAP environment.
  • Familiarity with SAP data migration processes, data loading plans, and Data Migration Work Packages (DMWs) is an advantage.
  • Experience using Veeva systems for document uploads, security configuration, review workflows, or approval management is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of Computerized System Validation (CSV), controlled documentation, and quality or compliance procedures is beneficial.
  • Strong document management skills, including preparing cover sheets, compiling supporting documentation, creating PDFs, and maintaining organized electronic records.
  • Excellent organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage sequential workflows, track approvals, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to documentation accuracy, data integrity, confidentiality, and procedural compliance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with Business Data Owners, validation teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to follow established procedures, manage multiple tasks, identify missing documentation, and proactively follow up on outstanding approvals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a structured, remote environment.
  • Proficiency with shared drives and electronic document management systems; familiarity with collaborative business tools is an asset.
  • A proactive, reliable, and process-oriented mindset, with a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
  • Must be based in Canada and able to work effectively in a remote role.
Benefits
  • Competitive hourly compensation: CAD $50.16–$60.40 per hour, depending on relevant experience, technical skills, qualifications, and work location.
  • Remote work arrangement: Opportunity to work remotely from Canada.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Access to resources and support for personal and professional well-being.
  • Employee discount program: Access to a range of discounts and special offers through a discount perks program.
  • Professional experience: Opportunity to contribute to SAP data migration and deployment activities in a structured enterprise environment.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work with business data owners, validation teams, and other stakeholders involved in data migration and approval processes.
  • Process and compliance exposure: Develop expertise in controlled documentation, Veeva workflows, data governance, and migration lifecycle management.
