Available Position:

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager who shares our passion for helping our clients build exceptional companies. AG partners with our clients’ management, finance, and operational teams by delivering insights to meet their business goals through data-driven decision making. We bring scalability and automation to our clients using technology solutions to rapidly deliver clear and actionable data insights.

In this role, you will work with our Accounting, Finance or Technology/Data teams among others, to solve some of the most exciting and challenging problems faced by entrepreneurial, high-growth companies in today’s environment. As a Project Manager, you will manage and deliver client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business solutions. You will be responsible for planning and leading the successful execution of Accounting, Finance or Technology/Data projects. This will include helping to continuously drive the vision for each project by aligning on delivery approach along with your project management expertise.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for end-to-end project management activities: Initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing all the assigned Accounting, Finance and Technology related projects.
  • Lead/transition the client onboarding and offboarding phases for any engagement, working closely with delivery and other project managers.
  • Initiate project plan and prepare detailed project schedule plan. Work with stakeholders and assign schedule & resources to each project.
  • Conduct regular project review meetings to monitor and control projects progress with respect to scope, schedule, and engage stakeholders. Follow-up/track action items to resolution.
  • Update project plans & deliverables, as required.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals. • Execute and monitor all the milestones.
  • Develop statements of work. Circulate the project schedule changes month on month for key dates and milestones to all the key stakeholders by end of every month based on the milestone progress.
  • Manage risks through the identification of early warning signals, assessment & on-time escalation.
  • Manage project data/ information and provide periodic updates to the project team and all stakeholders. Closely work with India and US team to manage and track their project requirements, negotiate resolution of issues, and ensure project tasks are completed according to established timelines.
  • Identify and escalate any scope creeps and delays to delivery managers.
  • Effectively engage with the client and represent the company’s commitment to quality, technical experience, and transparency
  • Keep reports available on project burns and track project milestones and staff utilization.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or Business, or any other related technical field.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience working within Accounting/Finance or Technology areas preferably in a consulting or related industry.
  • 4+ years of experience in leading and managing projects through the complete project life cycle.
  • Experience in working with formal program/project governance across a broad range of Project Management tools.
  • Agile, Waterfall, and/or SCRUM experience.
  • Experience in working with US-based clients with 2-3 hours of overlap.
  • Preferable - Project management certification (PMP, CAPM, Prince2, etc).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, problem-solve and deliver results.
  • Willingness to learn, be proactive, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Extensive experience delivering projects using various methodologies.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Microsoft Office skills and experience working with enterprise project and portfolio management (PPM) tools.
