Junior R&D Specialist

The role: We are looking for a proactive and dynamic Junior Food Technologist to join our R&D Team, supporting the development and optimization of different product categories, including ice cream, pastry, bakery, creams, and powder-based products, while contributing to product data management and master data maintenance activities.
This is an exciting opportunity for a curious and motivated young professional eager to learn, grow, and contribute to innovative projects in a fast-paced international environment.
What will you do:
  • Data processing activities and technical documentation support on the product (product datasheets, etc.)
  • Formulation of recipes and/or re-elaboration following feedback
  • Analysis on pilot plants
  • Test new product and process solutions
  • Testing of alternatives
  • Sampling
  • Develop research on raw materials and semi-finished products
  • Product functional analysis
Requirements:
  • Education: Degree in Food Science and Technology.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of food technologies, food industry regulations, and industrial production processes (considered a plus).
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Food Technologist is considered a plus; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Languages: Fluent Italian and English (minimum B2 level required).
  • Digital Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and a strong aptitude for digital tools and technologies.
  • Behavioural Competencies: Proactive attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn, ability to work autonomously, and strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Location: Gallarate (VA)

  • Working hours: Full time, 40h/week, from Monday to Friday

  • Contract: CCNL Alimentare Industria

  • Duration: Approximately 12 months (6+6), with the possibility of future opportunities within the team based on business needs and individual performance.
  • Level: Impiegatizio

  • Meal vouchers: €8 for each day spent in the office

  • Remuneration: starting from RAL 29.000€
