Job Description

Paid Performance Marketer

Childcare Marketing Group | Remote-First | Full-Time

Position Overview

We are looking for a Paid Performance Marketer who can turn strategy into results, building and running paid campaigns that fill enrollment pipelines for our child care and early education clients.

The Paid Performance Marketer owns the paid media engine behind a portfolio of child care client accounts. You will launch, manage, and continuously optimize campaigns across Google, Meta, and other paid channels, turning ad spend into qualified leads for the families and providers we serve.

You will also support the execution of digital marketing campaigns, including account setup, audience and creative testing, budget pacing, conversion tracking, performance reporting, and keeping every account on pace to hit its targets.

Compensation

• Salary Band: $2,000 to $2,500 per month.

• Performance Bonuses: Additional earning potential tied to cost-per-lead targets, return on ad spend, and consistent account growth.

Why You Should Work Here

• Work That Matters: You help connect families who need quality child care with the providers who serve them, by turning every dollar of ad spend into a real enrollment.

• Recession-Proof Growth: An established, fast-growing company that continues to thrive while many competitors struggle.

• Leadership That Has Your Back: A supportive, attentive team that answers your questions and helps you grow, professionally and personally.

• An Owner Who Shows Up: Our owner is actively involved in the business, not just a name on the door.

• Small-Team Feel: A friendly, tight-knit environment where you are a person, not a headcount.

• Remote-First Flexibility: Work remotely while staying connected to a fast-moving, collaborative team. Buffalo-area candidates may also have opportunities for occasional in-person meetings, strategy sessions, or team gatherings.

• Top-of-Market Pay: We pay above market because we hire the best and want to keep them.

• Train to Be the Best: Access $100K+ in training, courses, and materials, enough to make you more capable than 99.9% of the performance marketers our competitors employ.

• A Workspace That Feels Alive: Working from home can get lonely, so our virtual Sims-like office keeps the team connected day to day.

• Quarterly Town Halls: Every quarter, you get a full state-of-the-company update, so you are never guessing where things stand.

• The Dream-On Program: Each year, our CEO grants multiple wishes pulled straight from team members' dream boards.

• 25 Days Off: A full 25 paid days off per year, because we want you to have a real life outside work.

• Paid Days to Give Back: 4 paid days a year to volunteer with any charity you choose

What Success Looks Like

Within your first 90 days, you will learn our accounts, tools, and reporting systems, take full ownership of your assigned campaigns and budgets, and become the person the team trusts to hit performance targets. Ongoing, you will be measured on:

• Campaign Performance: Hit or beat cost-per-lead, return on ad spend, and conversion targets across every account you manage.

• Budget Stewardship: Pace spend accurately across accounts, with no runaway budgets and no missed opportunities.

• Creative and Testing: Run structured tests on audiences, creative, and offers, and act fast on what the data shows.

• Quality Control: Catch tracking gaps, broken pixels, and targeting errors before they cost a client money.

• Clear Communication: Give proactive, timely performance updates so nobody has to chase you for where an account stands.

• Process Improvement: Spot inefficiencies in how campaigns are built, tested, or reported, and recommend better ways to run the pipeline.

A Typical Week Might Include

• Auditing and optimizing live Google and Meta campaigns: bids, budgets, audiences, and placements.

• Launching new campaigns and ad sets from creative and copy assets.

• Reviewing performance dashboards and pulling insights on cost-per-lead, return on ad spend, and conversion trends.

• Testing new ad creative, copy angles, and landing page variations.

• Troubleshooting tracking, pixel, and conversion issues before they skew results.

• Reporting account performance to strategists, account managers, and clients.

• Coordinating with designers and copywriters on new creative needs.

Key Competencies

• Data-Driven Optimizer: You read cost-per-lead, ROAS, CTR, and CPA like a second language and know what to do next.

• Platform Fluent: You move confidently through Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and conversion tracking tools.

• Detail-Obsessed: You catch the targeting mistakes, budget errors, and broken pixels before they cost real money.

• Calm Under Deadlines: You stay steady when budgets are tight and priorities shift.

• Testing Mindset: You are always testing a new audience, angle, or creative, never coasting on "good enough."

• Ownership Mindset: You treat every ad account as if the budget were your own.

This Role Is Not for You If

• You launch a campaign and check back only when something breaks.

• You are uncomfortable digging into data or avoid the numbers behind a campaign.

• You get flustered managing multiple accounts and budgets at once.

• You would rather guess at what is working than test it.

• You need someone else to catch your targeting or budget mistakes.

Skills and Experience Required

• 3+ years of hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns, with proven results in Google Ads and Meta Ads.

• A track record of hitting or beating cost-per-lead, ROAS, or CPA targets.

• Strong understanding of campaign structure, audience targeting, bidding strategies, and conversion tracking.

• Comfort with pixel and tag implementation and troubleshooting, including Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager, and conversions API setups.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Experience managing multiple ad accounts or budgets at once. • Proficiency with project management and reporting tools. • A reliable remote work setup and availability to work primarily on an Eastern Time schedule.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience in child care, education, franchise, or multi-location businesses.

• Prior experience at a marketing agency managing multiple client accounts.

• Google Ads and/or Meta Blueprint certifications.

• Experience with attribution and tracking platforms such as Hyros, Triple Whale, or similar.

• Hands-on experience with tools such as ClickUp, GoHighLevel, n8n, or similar marketing and automation platforms.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, remote-first position.
