Overview

Advanced Technicians are Behavior Technicians whohave demonstrated significant experience and competence delivering behavior treatment based on the science of ABA. Advanced Technicians work more independently, are reliable, organized and professional, have mastery of ABA teaching concepts, and have a demonstrated ability working more complex cases.

Advanced Technicians support other technicians and their supervisors in ensuring services are delivered with reliability and fidelity. They often support local clinical leadership with clinical administrative responsibilities and/or special projects. They are extremely flexible and have a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

  • High School Diploma

  • A minimum of 1,000 hours of ABA experience and demonstrated advanced clinical competence

  • Certification, registration and/or license, as required by local statutes and/or policies

  • Speaking to others to convey information effectively

  • Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents

  • Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience

  • Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times

  • Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself to make improvements or take corrective action

  • Being aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do

  • Job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations

  • Job requires being constantly mindful of our mission to help children

  • Job requires persistence in the face of obstacles

  • Job requires accepting criticism and dealing calmly and effectively with high-stress situations

What You Have
  • High School Diploma

  • Certification, registration and/or license, as required by local statutes and/or policies

What You'll Be Doing
  • Deliver behavior treatment by protocol to clients as directed using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis

  • Attend scheduled treatment sessions

  • Follow all client treatment and safety processes and procedures as instructed

  • Document services delivered accurately and timely according to company policies

  • Collect and record data with fidelity and reliability

  • Complete mandatory trainings and attend required meetings

  • Adhere to all company compliance policies, written or unwritten

  • Complete other tasks as assigned

  • This role has no supervisory responsibilities, but may serve as a coach and mentor for other employees
